The force of hope is stronger than many of us think. Without applying this force in your spiritual walk and life you will not see the fulfilment of the promises that the Lord has given to you. Let go of hope and you will never reach the goal.
To have hope means you have a positive expectation; a strong anticipation that something will happen. Not might happen, but WILL happen.
It’s a driving force within that doesn’t let you give up but keeps you believing all the way! It feeds your faith, and you know that the things the Lord said He will do through your life, will come to pass. If you don’t have that expectation, you are not feeding your hope. Which means, your desired result lies in jeopardy.
How is this powerful fruit and force developed or established in you? Is it just by saying “I hope it will turn out the way God said it would”?
No, you may be surprised that there is much more involved in getting this force to become a strong anchor in your life. Pressure has to be applied, and endurance has to be formed. If you endure and don’t give up it will lead to approval, and character will be formed in you.
That approval will eventually lead to strong hope. A hope that cannot be shaken easily.
Hoping Until the End
If you embrace the whole process you will stand in full hope. You won’t waver in any way, get discouraged or hopeless, but you will follow through with God’s vision. The result? You will give birth to the promise that He has given to you and see the expected and desired ending!
If you have received certain promises in your life, but they haven’t become a reality yet, how much hope is left in you? Are you tempted to forget about it and abort the mission mid-term? Or are you holding on to the anchor of hope that is available to you?
